Seymour Primary School
Laidlaw Balustrades recently supplied Nylon Line handrails and Trespa panels to the Seymour Primary School classroom extension in Crawley, Sussex alongside Kier Construction and ECE Architecture.
The Nylon product is ideally suited for educational settings due to its 4mm thick nylon sleeve, making the product durable in areas of high pedestrian use. The Nylon product is visually attractive and maintenance on the handrails is minimal – any marks can easily be removed using a damp cloth. The handrails complies with BS 8300 which states that handrails must not be cold to touch and works with the educational environment. Other benefits of the Nylon Line include high resistance to most solvents, chemicals, cleansing agents and disinfectants and is environmentally safe.
The Trespa panels have anti-vandal and anti-graffiti properties and have been designed to match with the cladding facade around the building for a seamless finish.
